The climb to the southern peak is the climb with the shortest route to reach the southern peak of Mount Agung which only takes 9 hours of climbing up and down the mountain from the start of the climb at Pura Pasar Agung. This southern peak is the second peak of Mount Agung which has a low altitude, namely at an altitude of 2,900m.
This peak is also no less beautiful because the scenery offered is quite beautiful and clearly this peak is often involved in religious ceremonies, namely the ceremony (ngaturang pekelem) so that when you climb and get the right time when the Hindu religious holiday in Bali begins on certain days you will be able to see local Balinese Hindus praying at the southern peak of Mount Agung.

Itinerary from The Start of The Pick-up :
- 23.00 PM: Pick up from the hotel if you need to be picked up and dropped off by car. Pick-up time depends on where you are staying in Bali, we serve pick-ups throughout Bali, comfortable and large cars and professional drivers will take you to the starting location of the climb
- 00.30 AM : Arrive at the Mount Agung climbing registration office
- 00.40 AM – 00.50 AM : prepare climbing equipment while enjoying warm coffee and fried bananas provided by the guide at the starting location of the climb.
- 01:00 AM : register your name before starting the climb
- 03.30 AM : arrive at post 1 camping area and rest area 2,300 masl, rest, drink water and eat food for energy to continue the climb to the top.
- 05.30 AM : Arrive at the peak of 2,900 M.
- 05.30 AM: The climbing guide prepares breakfast, coffee/tea menu, bread, fried bananas and some snacks while enjoying the view while waiting for the sunrise.
- 06.00 AM : Enjoy the beautiful sunrise with views of Mount Batur and Mount Rinjani on Lombok Island and the guide will also take interesting photos for you
- 07.00 AM : Prepare yourself to descend from the peak after showing all the views at the peak
- 12.00 PM : Arrive at the starting point of Pasar Agung and the driver is waiting
- 12.15 PM : Afternoon the driver is ready to take you back to the hotel or homestay where you are staying
- 14.00 PM : Arrive at the hotel/homestay and our tour is over
